Tuchel Maschinenbau GmbH supplies sweepers, snow ploughs and tractors for agriculture, construction, municipal applications and industry. At Agritechnica, the manufacturer showcased its tried-and-tested models and impressed visitors with its down-to-earth quality and customer-oriented service.

The construction of sweepers has been a tradition in the Emsland region since the 1990s. Tuchel Maschinenbau is based in Salzbergen near Rheine and currently employs around 70 people. Here, sweepers, push brooms, weed brushes and snow ploughs are manufactured as attachments for a wide range of carrier vehicles such as yard loaders, wheel loaders, telescopic loaders, Hoftracs, tractors and forklift trucks. Tuchel also manufactures TRACs for agricultural and municipal applications. The Trio, FarmXpert, Mini3 and Farm-Clean models are sold throughout Europe, as are the attachments.

The company, which has recently been certified to DIN EN ISO 9001, has redesigned and optimised almost all of its machine types in recent years in terms of stability, quality and user handling. Each individual model is designed to help users not only work more efficiently, but also more comfortably: construction companies depend on their sites being tidy and clean, while farmers need their stables and yards to be clean in order to keep their animals in a healthy environment. Local authorities have a duty to maintain public infrastructure. They all have to carry out this task as quickly and as well as possible, as skilled workers are in short supply and general cost pressures are rising.

Reliable quality – numerous variants

This situation must be addressed: Tuchel equipment is of high quality, can be used intensively on a daily basis for many years and pays for itself in many areas after only a short time. It is important for the company to ‘always have its ear to the market’, as Managing Director Dennis Schürmann describes. Customers are always advised according to their individual requirements by the sales and field service teams: A large number of options and equipment variants are available for all machines and devices, such as side brushes, water spray systems, individual adjustment and displacement options, high-pressure spray systems, special paint finishes and much more. Of course, Tuchel also offers customised designs to meet customer requirements, ensuring that there is a clean solution for every conceivable application and industry.

Successful trade fair in turbulent times

At Agritechnica, the company focused on exhibiting its important machine types. Dennis Schürmann: ‘We showcased our so-called “bread and butter machines”, such as sweepers for farm loaders and tractors as well as for various wheel loaders and telescopic loaders, weed brushes, push brooms and a small selection of snow ploughs.’ These are machines that every farmer, construction contractor and local authority needs at all times.

The trade fair therefore went very well for the company, even taking into account the tense investment situation. Many visitors came to the stand to find out more. There is no question that Tuchel will continue the extremely positive development of the last 10 years. In order to position the team well for future growth, the company is always on the lookout for new qualified employees and trainees.
