Tuchel Maschinenbau invests in the future

By spring 2026, a state-of-the-art company headquarters with sustainable technology will be built in Salzbergen to support the company's growth. The new building will include production, office and logistics space and demonstrates a clear commitment to the location and to innovation.

Tuchel Maschinenbau GmbH recently broke ground on the construction of its new headquarters in Salzbergen, Emsland. According to the company, the building is scheduled to be ready for occupancy in spring 2026.

With the new building, Tuchel says it is taking an important step into the future. Managing partner Dennis Schürmann: ‘We are investing a double-digit million euro amount in a new administration building, new production and final assembly facilities, a loading and unloading hall and a brand-new paint shop. This will make our company fit for the challenges of the coming years, do justice to the growth of recent years and demonstrate our clear commitment to the location.’

The state-of-the-art building is being constructed on a site covering almost 26,000 square metres in the conveniently located Holsterfeld industrial estate in Salzbergen. It comprises a production area of approximately 12,000 square metres and 400 square metres of office space. Around 80 employees will work here in future.

Together with the mayor of the municipality of Salzbergen, Andreas Kaiser, and architect Michael Boyer from bb architekten boyer & bröckerhoff GmbH, Dennis Schürmann was impressed by the progress of the major project, which will usher in a new era for the manufacturer of sweepers, snow ploughs and vehicles.

The focus is on economic processes, speed and, especially with the new paint shop, energy efficiency. Dennis Schürmann: ‘This is particularly important in view of rising energy prices – not to mention the major issue of climate protection. It is an importance that we take very seriously. A photovoltaic system, charging stations for electric vehicles and efficient building management all play a key role here.’
