The decision to build a new facility was unavoidable, as the old location had reached its capacity limit. Continuous growth and high demand for Tuchel products required more space for production, painting, assembly, storage and administration. The decision to build a new facility on a greenfield site was therefore not only a necessity, but also a forward-looking step to ensure that the high quality of the products could continue to be fully guaranteed.
The new building is being constructed in turbulent times, when many companies are acting very cautiously and avoiding large investments. Nevertheless, Tuchel Maschinenbau GmbH decided some time ago to press ahead with the project. The very successful development of recent years and long-term confidence in its own competitiveness were the deciding factors in the commitment to the Salzbergen site. Realising such a construction project in economically uncertain times is by no means a matter of course, but demonstrates the company's determination to actively invest in the future despite the current challenges.
The roof and exterior façade are currently being installed, and it is now clearly visible how the new location is taking shape. It is already apparent that a state-of-the-art, high-performance and future-oriented company location is being created here that will meet the requirements of the mechanical engineering company.
The new company headquarters will be a sustainable, energy-efficient building complex that not only meets increasing requirements but also creates the best working conditions for employees. ‘With this step, we are making a targeted investment in our future and strengthening our competitiveness through optimal processes at all levels,’ explains managing partner Dennis Schürmann. ‘The new building will enable us to make processes even more efficient, expand production capacities and create space for innovation.’ There is a particular focus on sustainability and energy efficiency: plans include a photovoltaic system, modern heat pump technology and a resource-saving construction method. The new location will also set standards in terms of digitalisation and automation. The move to the new premises is planned for the first quarter of 2026.
In conclusion, it can be said that the new building is much more than just a new building – it is a visible symbol of courage, progress and a firm belief in one's own strength. Tuchel Maschinenbau is not only creating space for production and innovation here, but is also sending a strong signal for the future and reliability in the region.
